Ropongi Hills ( Tokyo, No1)
★English★
To attend J-SLA annual conference, we have been to Tokyo during the weekend. On Friday, we visited Roppongi Hills, which was constructed by building tycoon Minoru Mori, the mega-complex incorporates office space, apartments, shops, restaurants, cafés, movie theaters, a museum, a hotel, a major TV studio, an outdoor amphitheater, and a few parks. The centerpiece is the 54-story Mori Tower. Mori's stated vision was to build an integrated development where high-rise inner-urban communities allow people to live, work, play, and shop in proximity to eliminate commuting time. He argued that this would increase leisure time, quality of life, and benefit Japan's national competitiveness.

慶州へ( Trip to Korea, No3)
★English★
We have been to Gyeongju, which is an administrative division of South Korea and one of the most popular tourist destinations in South Korea. Gyeongju was the capital of the ancient kingdom of Silla. The Silla kingdom arose at the turn of the 1st millennium, and ruled most of the Korea Peninsula by the 7th century until the 9th centuries.
Take a look at an artistic beauty of this pic taken at sunset!!

Lion city (Singapore, 8/22-25)
★English★
Mar lion, the most famous sculpture in Singapore!! I asked Lee and her BF to take me there. In the 13th-century Malay Annals, Sang Nila Utama, a prince from Palembang was shipwrecked and washed ashore to an island. There he saw a creature which he believed was a lion. So he named the island "Singa Pura" which means "Lion City" in Malay, from which the name Singapore was derived.

Durio (Singapore, 8/22- 8/25)
★English★
Durio^^ gosh... smells terribleeeee.... hmm..... i tasted it .... well..... i couldn't eat them all....tastes terrible.... haha.. this is my expression... The unusual flavour and odour of the fruit have prompted many people to express diverse and passionate views ranging from deep appreciation to intense disgust. Prices of durians are relatively high as compared with other fruits. For example, in Singapore, the strong dema7.nd for high quality cultivars such as the D24, has resulted in typical retail prices of between S$8 to S$15.
hmm... a bit expensive.. Lee loves it.. haha

Kookaburra, Australian bird
English
"oo oo oo oo oo, ah ah ah ah ah !" The Kookaburra's rolling, laughing call is one of the best-known sounds in the animal world. The birds raise a wild chorus of crazy laughter as they go to roost in the treetops at dusk, and again wake everyone within hearing just as dawn breaks, so regularly that in the hinterlands of Australia they are know as the "bushman's clock."
Australians value the Kookaburra, not only as an intriguing member of the strange fauna, but for its habit of feeding on snakes and lizards. The Kookaburra seizes snakes behind the head and kills them by dropping them from a height, or else carries them to a perch and batters
